Asian Pork Sandwiches Made with Mu-Shu Hoisin Sauce
With this flexible recipe, you can use any kind of pork roast. It also goes great with our Crispy Ramen Slaw recipe.
Makes about 10 sandwiches
Ingredients
- 1 pork roast (about 3 lb. boneless or 4 lb. Semi-boneless) or boneless country style ribs
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 tbl brown sugar
- 1/4 cup apple juice
- 1/2 bottle Iron Chef Mu-Shu Hoisin Sauce
- 10 rolls
Directions
- Place pork roast into crock pot .
- Crush garlic over top, sprinkle with brown sugar, and add apple juice to crock pot. Season with salt and pepper. Cover and cook on low all day.
- As meat falls off of bone (or falls apart if using boneless roast), remove bones and any fatty parts.
- Shred pork meat with a fork and add Iron Chef Mu-Shu Hoisin sauce.
- Mix together and heat through. Serve on sliced rolls.
- Serve with Crispy Ramen slaw (look under Thai Sweet Pepper & Garlic).
